The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Domenec got free with Ciccio Tacconi in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led NFC Eagles 22's Ted Jansen to fire away a dangerous shot which Charles-Antoine Carnevalli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 24 played minutes FC Vershina ESPN got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Domenec. The crowd rose to their feet as Cyprian Gierlach kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciccio Tacconi. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Charles-Antoine Carnevalli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Schouten, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. NFC Eagles 22's Joeri Donderwinkel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Charles-Antoine Carnevalli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 44 minutes into the match, FC Vershina ESPN's Aristides Domenec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciccio Tacconi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Gierlach came free, but Ciccio Tacconi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 盛世 高文竞 was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Vershina ESPN's zone, 盛世 高文竞 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles-Antoine Carnevalli came out of the goal and 盛世 高文竞 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shelton Cho made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Danko Fuchs immediately put the ball in play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
