After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Deimantas Satkus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geležinis Vilkas's supporters rose to their feet, but Deimantas Satkus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deimantas Satkus was the one to do the kick off. In the 80th minute, Deimantas Satkus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Sanna. The goal made the score 1-1. Ovidijus Merkelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto De Nardis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Sporting Club Sicilia failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
