The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the match, StraX Xenon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Sarmento came free, but Mattias Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Jonas Hellqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. StraX Xenon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Hellqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Hellqvist scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aloísio Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nilton Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matadores FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Horácio Zanette in the 25th minute. Aloísio Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joacim Andersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Matadores FC got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Sarmento. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joacim Andersson got free with Aloísio Abreu in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogério Carneiro in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mattias Olofsson saved StraX Xenon FC from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Jonas Hellqvist made a precise shot to the right of Aloísio Abreu. Matadores FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Jonas Hellqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Aloísio Abreu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, Jonas Hellqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aloísio Abreu. Jonas Hellqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Jonas Hellqvists short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Aloísio Abreu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Hellqvist made a kick off. In the 61st minute Joacim Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Matadores FC's Nilton Fontes got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The audience was convinced that Jonas Hellqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aloísio Abreu was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 65th minute Jonas Hellqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Hellqvist in the 67th minute of play forced Matadores FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torbjörn Brummer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aloísio Abreu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Ismael Reis lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 78th minute, Jakob Palmkvist made a precise shot to the right of Aloísio Abreu. Matadores FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Jonas Hellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Abreu having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jonas Hellqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aloísio Abreu was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 86th minute Jonas Hellqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aloísio Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Hellqvist in the 88th minute of play. Aloísio Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joacim Andersson went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Matadores FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
