In the 16th minute Wieslaw Posadzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holer Nolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holer Nolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Posadzki in the 21st minute of the match. Markus Vik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jaap van der Schans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Big Dickey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap van der Schans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Hawk Tuah FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Hawk Tuah FC's Big Dickey looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 31st minute, Markus Vik reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jaap van der Schans. The goal made the score 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valio Tammisto in the 34th minute of play forced Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Holer Nolan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holer Nolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy van den Eede, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Holer Nolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valio Tammisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hawk Tuah FC's Holer Nolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valio Tammisto in the 39th minute of play. Hubert Ahlquist hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Markus Vik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Big Dickey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Westenenk's goal looked a bit too open when Big Dickey came free, but Jaap van der Schans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaap van der Schans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Vik in the 55th minute of play. Filip Hansma hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Stig Gulliksson came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Hawk Tuah FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Gulliksson couldn't finish the play. Hubert Ahlquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaap van der Schans having to interfere. Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Big Dickey in the 70th minute of play. Jaap van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Big Dickey, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Eddy van den Eede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hawk Tuah FC made a substitution. Marcial Montrell replaced Stig Gulliksson. Japke Sturm kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Hubert Ahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute, Big Dickey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
