But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Arias couldn't finish the play. Fabricio Angileri hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Sebastian Xabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Well-Well Chițan in the 30th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Errapel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Everardo Abella received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The audience was convinced that Lucas Beltrán's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Xabier was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeronimo Errapel during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SOUTH THUNDER getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jeronimo Errapel hit a great ball. Everardo Abella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Xabier having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Sebastian Xabier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Beltrán. When the match was over COSQUIN SFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SOUTH THUNDER throughout the match.
