Christer Waaler came out of the goal and Uwe-Jens Röttger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christer Waaler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matti Erkiner in the 19th minute of the match. Christer Waaler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matti Erkiner in the 23rd minute of play. Uwe-Jens Röttger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christer Waaler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Andras Gafus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Waaler having to interfere. The supporters of Åsnes booed when 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matti Erkiner didn't get a good kick on the ball.
