Christer Waaler was a little too slow when Raul Leal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rune Gjessing hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Mehmet Ferit İsmet got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christer Waaler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Christer Waaler made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Abílio Passos sent off a good shot on target. Ivo Guterres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon-Egil Gjelsvik, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Leal made a kick off. Christer Waaler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abílio Passos in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Jon-Egil Gjelsvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Guterres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Freiburg 09's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tobias Haugvaldstad was slow to take the kick. During this time Åsnes's players had a chance to rest. Mehmet Ferit İsmet made a great header on SC Freiburg 09's corner, it was just that Åsnes's Christer Waaler managed to reach the ball for a save. The Åsnes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christer Waaler should have stopped the shot. Christer Waaler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Bragança came free, but Christer Waaler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, SC Freiburg 09's Abílio Passos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christer Waaler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0.
