PKS Marymont Warszawa's Gustaw Golembiewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Shearer in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 8 minutes, John Guidetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PKS Marymont Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Guidetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th match minute, PKS Marymont Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Mondorf to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cédric Payen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustaw Golembiewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute of the match Minerul Baita -MM- got a corner. PKS Marymont Warszawa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cédric Payen ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Rareș Comișel got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Shearer in the 27th minute of play forced PKS Marymont Warszawa's goalkeeper Gustaw Golembiewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Minerul Baita -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Varela to maneuver through the defense. Bastian Marin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nistor Maghiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes Minerul Baita -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Téo Queiroz who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on PKS Marymont Warszawa's corner Freddy Mondorf fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nistor Maghiar quite easily take care of the ball. In the 44th minute, Niculae Şantău left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ciprian Alexe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Guidetti was the one to do the kick off. If Allan Shearer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nistor Maghiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Zawada in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Şantău in the 58th minute of play forced PKS Marymont Warszawa's goalkeeper Gustaw Golembiewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, PKS Marymont Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Alexe came free, but Gustaw Golembiewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Gustaw Golembiewski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nistor Maghiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Zawada, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Téo Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PKS Marymont Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nistor Maghiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Queiroz in the 71st minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match, Ciprian Alexe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustaw Golembiewski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Niculae Şantău's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gustaw Golembiewski firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 82nd minute Allan Shearer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Golembiewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute Dominik Zawada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Maghiar came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by PKS Marymont Warszawa's John Guidetti. But to his dismay, John Guidetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ionuț Vasiliu was substituted for Alan Varela. 93 minutes into the game, PKS Marymont Warszawa's John Guidetti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nistor Maghiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Gustaw Golembiewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Ferenț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. PKS Marymont Warszawa were victorious despite being under pressure from Minerul Baita -MM- for much of the match.
