The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Gråberg in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allan Shearer in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Gråberg in the 15th minute of play. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Ferenț, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gao Kun Mo in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Allan Shearer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emerson Leão was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Maximilian Mellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Nistor Maghiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nistor Maghiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvard Gråberg in the 34th minute. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gao Kun Mo in the 35th minute of play. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Niculae Şantău managed to work through São Paulo Leste F.C.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Niculae Şantău dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 39th minute, Ciprian Alexe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emerson Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 42nd minute Gao Kun Mo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Gheorghe Birișu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Nistor Maghiar was a little too slow when Stanislaw Turacki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 51 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Tepes. In the 55th minute Edvard Gråberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Maghiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gao Kun Mo in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciprian Alexe. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Shearer got free with Emerson Leão in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had been going on for 69 minutes, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Qiu Wei Ting got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Emerson Leão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Şantău in the 74th minute of play forced São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Vlad Tepes got a free kick in the 75th minute. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cédric Payen was substituted for Ciprian Alexe. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ionuț Vasiliu was substituted for Gordon Miner. In the 77th minute, Vlad Tepes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Gråberg came free, but Nistor Maghiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gao Kun Mo in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nistor Maghiar saved Minerul Baita -MM- from getting behind. Nistor Maghiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Kun Mo in the 83rd minute of play. Emerson Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionuț Vasiliu in the 89th minute. Gao Kun Mo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cédric Payen. Rareș Comișel kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Felix Ferenț's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emerson Leão was relentless in the 98th minute of the game.
