With a little luck, Bayern Lessa - u21's Mateus Mello got control of the ball when Julián Álvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bayern Lessa - u21's Mateus Mello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Bayern Lessa - u21 from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Bayern Lessa - u21's Cillian Murphy got a free kick in the 6th minute. Julián Álvarez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mateus Mello. Bayern Lessa - u21's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. LegionArgentina's Remigio Cisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo de Castro in the 9th minute of play. Mateus Mello was a little too slow when György Kósa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. With an all-out effort, LegionArgentina's Mateus Mello threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julián Álvarez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mateus Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayern Lessa - u21's Mateus Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julián Álvarez in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Edvaldo Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Julián Álvarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateus Mello. Bayern Lessa - u21's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julián Álvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 35 played minutes LegionArgentina got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Herrera. Remigio Cisco came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Bayern Lessa - u21's Vivaldo de Castro. But to his dismay, Vivaldo de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 40th match minute, Bayern Lessa - u21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Bayern Lessa - u21's Mateus Mello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Bayern Lessa - u21 from getting a goal against them. Mateus Mello came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by LegionArgentina's Santos Teyo. But to his dismay, Santos Teyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Pereira to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Santos Teyo notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Bayern Lessa - u21's Mateus Mello. Mateus Mello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the match, Bayern Lessa - u21's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Gabino came free, but Mateus Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Cisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beau Bonnafoux, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Bayern Lessa - u21 were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after LegionArgentina's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cillian Murphy took the corner. Mateus Mello came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by LegionArgentina's Julián Álvarez. But to his dismay, Julián Álvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Mateus Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from György Kósa in the 69th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, LegionArgentina's György Kósa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateus Mello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. 72 minutes into the match, Bayern Lessa - u21's goal looked a bit too open when György Kósa came free, but Mateus Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateus Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julián Álvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julián Álvarez took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateus Mello. Mateus Mello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-1. If Marcos Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateus Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julián Álvarez in the 93rd minute of the match. Mateus Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julián Álvarez in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that LegionArgentina were the better team. LegionArgentina's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
