The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Jochem Rijkaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Lillhärdal BF's Foeke Wisgerhof threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tord Kämpe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tord Kämpe in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Foeke Wisgerhof saved Dukaton f.c. from getting behind. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lukas Blaauwgeers sped through Lillhärdal BF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sixten Nordström. 21 minutes into the match, Lillhärdal BF's Torsten Lekberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Foeke Wisgerhof narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Foeke Wisgerhof made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torsten Lekberg in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Kämpe in the 25th minute of play forced Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Foeke Wisgerhof to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Lillhärdal BF's goal looked a bit too open when Adriaan Oldenborger came free, but Sixten Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukas Blaauwgeers in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixten Nordström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Lukas Blaauwgeers got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sixten Nordström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gustav Sillén thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Sixten Nordström, a very annoying self made goal in the 30th minute which led to 0-2. With a little luck, Dukaton f.c.'s Foeke Wisgerhof got control of the ball when Torsten Lekberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Magnus Torsberg hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th match minute, Dukaton f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Atsma to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Lukas Blaauwgeers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Karl-Magnus Torsberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lillhärdal BF and the Dukaton f.c. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dukaton f.c. booed when Lillhärdal BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Torsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steve Hilhorst took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 49th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sixten Nordström. Lillhärdal BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

53 minutes into the match, Lillhärdal BF's goalkeeper Sixten Nordström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lukas Blaauwgeers. Albert Atsma hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Foeke Wisgerhof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Lekberg in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match Lillhärdal BF got a corner. Dukaton f.c.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qin Han Jing ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 66th minute Lukas Blaauwgeers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Lukas Blaauwgeers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sixten Nordström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, Lillhärdal BF's goalkeeper Sixten Nordström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Coos van Ankeren. Gustav Sillén charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustav Sillén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gustav Sillén hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Foeke Wisgerhof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tord Kämpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute Lillhärdal BF were awarded a corner. Qin Han Jing went to the cornerflag to take it. Qin Han Jing made a great header on Lillhärdal BF's corner, it was just that Dukaton f.c.'s Foeke Wisgerhof managed to reach the ball for a save. Lukas Blaauwgeers scored 0-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixten Nordström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Foeke Wisgerhof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Lekberg in the 88th minute of the match. Lillhärdal BF's Sixten Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Blaauwgeers in the 92nd minute of play. The Dukaton f.c. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dukaton f.c. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
