In the 25thth minute of the game Delmar Berenguer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Emerson Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Gao Kun Mo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aigeus Milionis, 2-1. Emil Kordalewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Berenguer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emerson Leão having to make a save. Hahay's Aigeus Milionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Brito in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Delmar Berenguer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hahay's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Berenguer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 played minutes São Paulo Leste F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Arce. After 48 minutes, Carlos Fernando Nunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the São Paulo Leste F.C. and the Hahay players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to São Paulo Leste F.C. getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Delmar Berenguer made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Emerson Leão managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Hahay's Delmar Berenguer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hahay's Aigeus Milionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gao Kun Mo in the 56th minute of play. Emerson Leão came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Hahay's Delmar Berenguer. But to his dismay, Delmar Berenguer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Aigeus Milionis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Brito in the 61st minute of the match. Hahay's Aigeus Milionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Brito in the 67th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Berenguer got free with Emerson Leão in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Renato Vidal made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Victoriano Urtzi however managed to control. 88 minutes into the match, São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmar Berenguer.
