Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petros Mousa in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacek Matuch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 4 minutes SV Bad Harzburg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norberto Fresco who took care of the corner kick. The corner led INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Norberto Fresco to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacek Matuch despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 5 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Petros Mousa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacek Matuch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvestre Loi took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romulo Gelacio. Romulo Gelacio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petros Mousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Jurek Ohrem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Gelacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Éthan Pichard came free, but Romulo Gelacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romulo Gelacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éthan Pichard in the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. He Qiang hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvestre Loi in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Gelacio saved INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Romulo Gelacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Loi in the 22nd minute of play. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Mousa in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petros Mousa. With a little luck, SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch got control of the ball when Boni Yarman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from He Qiang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Éthan Pichard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Gelacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes, Éthan Pichard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Bad Harzburg and the INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Éthan Pichard hit a great ball. Cao Yue Zheng hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Petros Mousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacek Matuch having to make a save. 47 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Loi came free, but Romulo Gelacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestre Loi to make the kick off. When Petros Mousa came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petros Mousa couldn't finish the play. If Petros Mousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Norberto Fresco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvestre Loi got free with Romulo Gelacio in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodor Covaci's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Romulo Gelacio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Teodor Covaci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Romulo Gelacio made a huge save. Mathias Schulten came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Romulo Gelacio could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurek Ohrem in the 76th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Romulo Gelacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacek Matuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petros Mousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Romulo Gelacio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Loi in the 82nd minute. Jacek Matuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from He Qiang in the 89th minute of the match. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB made a substitution. Narciso Vergaray replaced Petros Mousa. The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arslan İzhan kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Romulo Gelacio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Éthan Pichard. In the 95th minute SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner. Éthan Pichard went to the cornerflag to take it. Jurek Ohrem was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
