Zbigniew Hatman hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Kara Melo in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by LFS Sapphire Club's Stasio Redisz. If Mo Yi Sang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno got control of the ball when Witalis Tamulewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Witalis Tamulewicz could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Matias Carlomagno however easily saved by the left post. Isidro Carrasqueira charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidro Carrasqueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, LFS Sapphire Club's Isidro Carrasqueira got a free kick in the 18th minute. Mo Yi Sang might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltasar Aznaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mo Yi Sang ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Witalis Tamulewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Carlomagno came out of the goal and Witalis Tamulewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stasio Redisz made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Witalis Tamulewicz immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kara Melo in the 27th minute of play forced LFS Sapphire Club's goalkeeper Baltasar Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LFS Sapphire Club's Baltasar Aznaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mo Yi Sang in the 29th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Stanislaw Piwowarski put in a rough tackle. In the 37th minute Mo Yi Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mo Yi Sang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Aznaro having to interfere. Baltasar Aznaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mo Yi Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Kara Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Witalis Tamulewicz was the one to do the kick off. Baltasar Aznaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mo Yi Sang's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Mo Yi Sang put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baltasar Aznaro. Mo Yi Sang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes into the match, LFS Sapphire Club's goalkeeper Baltasar Aznaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Soriano. After 62 minutes LFS Sapphire Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gigi Penaru who took care of the corner kick. San Lorenzo's Gigi Penaru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baltasar Aznaro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Stasio Redisz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's Mo Yi Sang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Aznaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mo Yi Sang in the 70th minute of play forced LFS Sapphire Club's goalkeeper Baltasar Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Kara Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Mo Yi Sang sped through LFS Sapphire Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baltasar Aznaro. LFS Sapphire Club's Baltasar Aznaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mo Yi Sang in the 84th minute of play. When Mo Yi Sang came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the San Lorenzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mo Yi Sang couldn't finish the play.
