After 6 minutes of play, CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Connor Osmond was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cipriano Pasqual's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Connor Osmond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of CAI NEUQUEN booed when SK Mons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yanniek Verhaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Mons's goalkeeper Connor Osmond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Connor Osmond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Pasqual, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to CAI NEUQUEN getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dionisio Felo hit a great ball. A hard shot 26 in the game by Steven Puttemans from a close distance when the talented Ermegildo Horado managed to make a qualified save. CAI NEUQUEN's players were relieved. Remzi Nuri hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Connor Osmond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Pasqual's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. With a little luck, CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado got control of the ball when Steven Puttemans tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miodrag Belo during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, CAI NEUQUEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miodrag Belo to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Trevor Eubank made the kick off in the second half. Ermegildo Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trevor Eubank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermegildo Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Van den Berch in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 played minutes SK Mons got a freekick which was hit by Yanniek Verhaert. Connor Osmond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Pasqual's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trevor Eubank in the 58th minute of play forced CAI NEUQUEN's goalkeeper Ermegildo Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Trevor Eubank had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermegildo Horado. CAI NEUQUEN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Trevor Eubank was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. SK Mons's Cornel Ulici was substituted for Steven Puttemans. Chen Hai Zhi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ermegildo Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoph Van den Berch in the 83rd minute of the match. Connor Osmond made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Cipriano Pasqual sent off a good shot on target. Connor Osmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Pasqual in the 87th minute of play. CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Ulici in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Leif Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Ulici came free, but Ermegildo Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
