The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 9 minutes Red Bull Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raul Heriberto who took care of the corner kick. Ermegildo Pasqual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Pasqual in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Pasqual in the 19th minute of play forced Red Bull Club's goalkeeper Ermegildo Pasqual to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermegildo Pasqual took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Pasqual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Club's zone, Cipriano Pasqual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Pasqual came out of the goal and Cipriano Pasqual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Pasqual might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermegildo Pasqual. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Pasqual ran back to his position shaking his head. Ermegildo Pasqual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Pasqual in the 25th minute of play. Ermegildo Pasqual stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Pasqual's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Pasqual in the 30th minute of play forced Red Bull Club's goalkeeper Ermegildo Pasqual to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamen Šiškov in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Red Bull Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Pasqual came free, but Ermegildo Pasqual reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamen Šiškov in the 39th minute of play forced CAI NEUQUEN's goalkeeper Ermegildo Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Ermegildo Pasqual managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 48th minute of the match CAI NEUQUEN got a corner. Red Bull Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raul Heriberto ran over to the corner to take the kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cipriano Pasqual made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Red Bull Club getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Heli Segura hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Pasqual made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 63 minutes into the game, Stamen Šiškov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Bull Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CAI NEUQUEN the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, Red Bull Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamen Šiškov to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Cipriano Pasqual managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAI NEUQUEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Pasqual was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Pasqual breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, CAI NEUQUEN's Lee-Paul Ramon got a free kick in the 69th minute. Oliver Rajkov in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ermegildo Horado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ermegildo Horado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santo Blasi in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute of the match Špend Bošnjaku shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermegildo Horado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Cipriano Pasqual ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermegildo Pasqual was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ermegildo Pasqual came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual. But to his dismay, Cipriano Pasqual quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Ermegildo Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fathi Yu in the 85th minute of play. When Cipriano Pasqual came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the CAI NEUQUEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Pasqual couldn't finish the play. CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Red Bull Club getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Heli Segura hit a great ball. Miodrag Belo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
