Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonidas Orange started the match with the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Bruno Alves in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by S.C.PAULISTA's Kauã Chaves. S.C.PAULISTA's César Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonidas Orange could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Lionel 柯景义 made a huge save. If Alfredinho de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gerrit Cronen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Begg Scully went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Leonidas Orange who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Lionel 柯景义 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Begg Scully in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerrit Cronen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Begg Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brasiliense FC's Lionel 柯景义 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Brasiliense FC from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the game, Brasiliense FC's Begg Scully nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerrit Cronen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when César Eger came free, but Lionel 柯景义 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Begg Scully recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Brasiliense FC's Begg Scully in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.C.PAULISTA's goalie prevented a goal. Brasiliense FC were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after S.C.PAULISTA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raimundo Batista took the corner. The corner led Brasiliense FC's Raimundo Batista to fire away a dangerous shot which Gerrit Cronen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Begg Scully made a kick off. Gerrit Cronen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Begg Scully in the 52nd minute of play. Begg Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gerrit Cronen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonidas Orange's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lionel 柯景义 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. S.C.PAULISTA's Leonidas Orange got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerrit Cronen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afiz Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afiz Phua scored 0-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerrit Cronen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, João Carlos Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brasiliense FC made a substitution. Nuno Vasconcelos replaced Begg Scully. Natã Queiroz hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Nuno Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Cronen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonidas Orange might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lionel 柯景义. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonidas Orange ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute, Raimundo Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.C.PAULISTA's Jorge Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The S.C.PAULISTA manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Brasiliense FC to win.
