The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonio Perrando took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Almiro Benevides. Almiro Benevides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alexandre Infante lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Antonio Perrando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Almiro Benevides made a huge save. Stars Academy's Almiro Benevides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Stars Academy from getting a goal against them. Stars Academy's Almiro Benevides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tonete in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Stars Academy's Almiro Benevides got control of the ball when Alberto Tonete tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Stars Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tonete came free, but Almiro Benevides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, Newpi Academy's Ion Hidiș made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almiro Benevides was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antero Rebocho charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antero Rebocho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antero Rebocho kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Stars Academy's Almiro Benevides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tonete in the 35th minute of play. Almiro Benevides didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 6-0. 43 minutes into the match, Alberto Tonete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Almiro Benevides. Stars Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tonete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Tonete stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Newpi Academy's Ion Hidiș made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almiro Benevides was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55th match minute, Stars Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Leite to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Alberto Tonete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Almiro Benevides. Stars Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tonete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Almiro Benevides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almiro Benevides didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eulalio Otsando went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. If Alberto Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Otsando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes, Antonio Perrando made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Stars Academy's Almiro Benevides tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Almiro Benevides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tonete in the 72nd minute of the match. Alberto Tonete scored 12-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Almiro Benevides, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Alberto Tonete put it in 13-0 from a short distance just to the right of Almiro Benevides. After having played for 83 minutes, Antonio Perrando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newpi Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Perrando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stars Academy's goalkeeper Almiro Benevides, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Alberto Tonete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newpi Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tonete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almiro Benevides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 minutes of play, Newpi Academy's Alberto Tonete made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almiro Benevides was left in no man's land by his defense there! Almiro Benevides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tonete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stars Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antonio Perrando was slow to take the kick. During this time Newpi Academy's players had a chance to rest. Newpi Academy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
