Stars Academy's Almiro Benevides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Järvenperä in the 2nd minute of play. A collision led to Stars Academy getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Celso Estrada hit a great ball. Hermengildo Ursino took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Almiro Benevides. Almiro Benevides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Stars Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Adrio came free, but Almiro Benevides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almiro Benevides didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermengildo Ursino went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Almiro Benevides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afanasiy Mozolin in the 12th minute of the match. MDQ Raptors FC's Fabian Dominguez was substituted for Abelardo Rocendo. The Stars Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Almiro Benevides should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Daniel Järvenperä ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Almiro Benevides was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Teofilo Adrio might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Almiro Benevides. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofilo Adrio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute, Afanasiy Mozolin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Almiro Benevides was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 41st minute, Afanasiy Mozolin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. In the 89th minute, Afanasiy Mozolin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Almiro Benevides. The goal made the score 0-19. Almiro Benevides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Ursino in the 93rd minute of the match. The Stars Academy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MDQ Raptors FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
