Spectators: 7559 (Terracing: 5670, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rodolfo Egoi kicked off to start the match. In the 15th minute of the match Rosario Central got a corner. Newpi Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prudencio Eleder ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rosario Central's Prudencio Eleder was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Richard Textex in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Richard Textex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Gartzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Alberto Tonete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eulalio Otsando was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Richard Textex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Urre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Perrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Textex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Gartzea in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Perrando came free, but Alvaro Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Textex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Ucieda, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Alvaro Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tonete in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Egoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard Textex was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The Rosario Central fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Rosario Central's Rodolfo Egoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Richard Textex came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario Central's Placido Gartzea. But to his dismay, Placido Gartzea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half Rosario Central were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Newpi Academy getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gavino Lauren hit a great ball. Alberto Tonete's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Urre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Ucieda came free, but Richard Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Egoi came free, but Richard Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Newpi Academy's Guaberto Efren was substituted for Ion Hidiș. In the 81st minute, Antonio Perrando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Egoi came free, but Richard Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tonete's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Urre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Newpi Academy got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Guerrero. Richard Textex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Egoi in the 95th minute of play. Rosario Central played a much better game than Newpi Academy and deserved their victory. The Newpi Academy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
