Silvino Domingo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leszek Jeziorkowski in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Perez saved Persepolis F.C. from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, Leszek Jeziorkowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Santos Perez, 1-1. A collision led to MetalGarurumon F.C getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Leonard Filipașcu hit a great ball. Silvino Domingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léopold Castro in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, MetalGarurumon F.C's Leszek Jeziorkowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santos Perez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Persepolis F.C.'s zone, Leo Inautzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Perez came out of the goal and Leo Inautzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvino Domingo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arden Poulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, MetalGarurumon F.C's Tadeu Afonso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Silvino Domingo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arden Poulin in the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leo Inautzi came free, but Santos Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Leo Inautzi took the ball and in the 50 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Perez. Santos Perez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, MetalGarurumon F.C's Tadeu Afonso got a free kick in the 58th minute. Persepolis F.C.'s Andy Duff was substituted for Gwidon Seliga. 63 minutes into the match, MetalGarurumon F.C's Leo Inautzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santos Perez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rdth minute of the game Leo Inautzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MetalGarurumon F.C's Silvino Domingo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arden Poulin in the 64th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Leszek Jeziorkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute Leszek Jeziorkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Leszek Jeziorkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute MetalGarurumon F.C were awarded a corner. Gasteiz Amarita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gasteiz Amarita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez did a great save. If Gasteiz Amarita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the match, MetalGarurumon F.C's goalkeeper Silvino Domingo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ildefonso Harkaitz. After some careless play in the Persepolis F.C. defense, Leszek Jeziorkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santos Perez. The Persepolis F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santos Perez should have stopped the shot. The supporters of MetalGarurumon F.C booed when Persepolis F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kory Saunders didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Jeziorkowski in the 86th minute of play forced Persepolis F.C.'s goalkeeper Santos Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Jeziorkowski came free, but Santos Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seb Oliver during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
