After the first half MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hakkı Kenan Uygun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dário Viana having to make a save. Dário Viana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdurrezzak Ünveren in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Squall FC's Carlos Alberto Gerber got a free kick in the 56th minute. Squall FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Altuğ Başhekim 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Squall FC's Dário Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakkı Kenan Uygun in the 79th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Altuğ Başhekim took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Dário Viana to make any attempt to save it. Dário Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Altuğ Başhekim in the 84th minute of play. Abdurrezzak Ünveren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dário Viana firmly grabbed it by the left post. Altuğ Başhekim struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Dário Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu.
