Road To Glory's Ariel Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Bencivenni in the 11th minute of play. Asso Kraav hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match Cristian Urtzi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ariel Venerando skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Brion in the 15th minute of play forced Road To Glory's goalkeeper Ariel Venerando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Los Muchachos del 86's Cristian Urtzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ariel Venerando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gugu de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu de Mendonça came free, but Atahan Balon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Road To Glory got a freekick which was hit by Gao Xing Zhen. Gugu de Mendonça received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Atahan Balon came out and tried to block the shot, but Gugu de Mendonça slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute, Asiz Soon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Venerando was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Atahan Balon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu de Mendonça in the 43rd minute of play. Ariel Venerando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Bencivenni, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Saverio Brion took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ariel Venerando. Ariel Venerando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gugu de Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Fabio Bencivenni took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Ariel Venerando to make any attempt to save it. In the 59th minute, Gugu de Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Fabio Bencivenni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Muchachos del 86 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Muchachos del 86's Saverio Brion slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ariel Venerando. That made the score 2-7 after 72 minutes of play. Los Muchachos del 86's Marco Maurino was substituted for Babbis Boukouvalas. Szymon Szkaradek succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-8 in the 82nd playminute. Cristian Urtzi hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When the match was over Los Muchachos del 86 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Road To Glory throughout the match.
