Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5588, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Redbourn AFC's Ryan Tan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Martial Schwersenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martial Schwersenz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Afiz Teo made a huge save. The throw-in from Afiz Seng in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fire Devils's Lajos Wenzel. The supporters of Redbourn AFC booed when Fire Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Palm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martial Schwersenz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afiz Teo having to make a save. After 23 minutes Redbourn AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ismael Kalnik who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th match minute, Fire Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lajos Wenzel to maneuver through the defense. Afiz Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Vilaverde in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Martial Schwersenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fire Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martial Schwersenz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Afiz Seng with Alexander Pieng as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Martial Schwersenz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fire Devils's Martial Schwersenz got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Martial Schwersenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute, Tan Cheng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nat Rohn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

Fire Devils made a substitution. Edmílson Gaúcho replaced Sven-Arne Bengtsson. In the 53rd minute, Samuel Chien-Kwan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Martial Schwersenz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afiz Teo was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 60th minute Martial Schwersenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Teo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 played minutes Redbourn AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fariz Swee. Martial Schwersenz took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afiz Teo. Afiz Teo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 69 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goalkeeper Nat Rohn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tan Cheng. Martial Schwersenz might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afiz Teo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martial Schwersenz ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the game, Samuel Chien-Kwan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fire Devils's Dariusz Nalaskowski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Martial Schwersenz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martial Schwersenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nat Rohn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ryan Tan in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Redbourn AFC's Afiz Seng got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Bineesh Chee fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redbourn AFC's protests and gave Bineesh Chee a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, one of Redbourn AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Redbourn AFC. Afiz Teo had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Ismael Kalnik's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Lajos Wenzel hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
