The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Milan da Freguesia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batata Cachorro to maneuver through the defense. João Vítor Arósio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josiah Mwangi Rop in the 5th minute. Han Guo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Estrellas de Caballito getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cristobal Patxi hit a great ball. Du Song Lin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Blanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Esteve Blanco came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Du Song Lin. But to his dismay, Du Song Lin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Chicão Meirelles's late challenge caught a Estrellas de Caballito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chicão Meirelles helped the player get up and apologised. João Vítor Arósio was a little too slow when Josiah Mwangi Rop got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Estrellas de Caballito's zone, Du Song Lin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Blanco came out of the goal and Du Song Lin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Du Song Lin came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Milan da Freguesia F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Du Song Lin couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Meirelles in the 23rd minute of play forced Estrellas de Caballito's goalkeeper Esteve Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Du Song Lin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Aquiles Iraitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrellas de Caballito's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Iraitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Vítor Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Du Song Lin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milan da Freguesia F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josiah Mwangi Rop made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Du Song Lin got free with Esteve Blanco in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Milan da Freguesia F.C. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Paulo Renato Mineiro hit a great ball. João Vítor Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josiah Mwangi Rop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62ndth minute of the game Du Song Lin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrellas de Caballito's Esteve Blanco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Du Song Lin in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Blanco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Estrellas de Caballito's zone, Du Song Lin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Blanco came out of the goal and Du Song Lin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estrellas de Caballito's goalkeeper Esteve Blanco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. João Vítor Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josiah Mwangi Rop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Donato Erramun was slow to take the kick. During this time Estrellas de Caballito's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Estrellas de Caballito's Aquiles Iraitz to fire away a dangerous shot which João Vítor Arósio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
