The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mark Koh scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renaldo Segarra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jörlanda's Renaldo Segarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Soon in the 10th minute of play. Jerry Soon took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renaldo Segarra. Renaldo Segarra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Mark Koh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jerry Soon came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Oakham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerry Soon couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes in the game, Matthias Holmgren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bryan Hui having to interfere. If Mark Koh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khai Amin in the 44th minute of play forced Jörlanda's goalkeeper Renaldo Segarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Mark Koh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jörlanda's Renaldo Segarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerry Soon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 64thth minute of the game Jerry Soon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jörlanda's Renaldo Segarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Pinkhas charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Pinkhas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jörlanda getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Paulo Pinkhas hit a great ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Asiz Rajah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oakham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asiz Rajah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Jerry Soon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Renaldo Segarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Soon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 73 in the game by Jerry Soon from a close distance when the talented Renaldo Segarra managed to make a qualified save. Jörlanda's players were relieved. Renaldo Segarra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gara Hock in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the game, Patrik Harlén was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jörlanda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oakham the free kick. Patrik Harlén kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Asiz Rajah from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Renaldo Segarra's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Renaldo Segarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Soon in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Jörlanda getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Östen Hedin hit a great ball. Gara Hock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaldo Segarra having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Oakham walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
