ŠK Horelica's Gabriel Černoch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save ŠK Horelica from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as R.C. Marseille's Cyrille Melon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gabriel Černoch. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. Gabriel Černoch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Toader, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per Øvsthus's late challenge caught a R.C. Marseille's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per Øvsthus helped the player get up and apologised. 15 minutes into the game, R.C. Marseille's Cyrille Melon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Černoch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Gustave Souchu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ibai Koldobika in the 20th minute of the match. Gustave Souchu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ibai Koldobika, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Gabriel Černoch was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Mihail Toader capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mihail Toader really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Jean-Marc Buisson kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyrille Melon in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Černoch saved ŠK Horelica from getting behind. R.C. Marseille's Gustave Souchu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ibai Koldobika in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by ŠK Horelica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Renan Bouzat was slow to take the kick. During this time R.C. Marseille's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, ŠK Horelica's Gabriel Černoch got control of the ball when Cyrille Melon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Gabriel Černoch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyrille Melon. After 46 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Cyrille Melon. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ibai Koldobika to make the kick off. In the 50thth minute of the game Mihail Toader who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ŠK Horelica's Gabriel Černoch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 52nd minute of the match, Ondrej Poliovka got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gustave Souchu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. R.C. Marseille's Gustave Souchu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ibai Koldobika in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Cyrille Melon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Černoch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Filip Seman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but R.C. Marseille's Gustave Souchu did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Toader in the 60th minute of play forced ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Gabriel Černoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Gustave Souchu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ibai Koldobika in the 62ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Gabriel Černoch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Toader in the 66th minute of play. The corner ended in Renan Bouzat almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ŠK Horelica's Gabriel Černoch did a great save. Gustave Souchu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ibai Koldobika, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Cyrille Melon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Černoch having to interfere. Ibai Koldobika who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Gustave Souchu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ibai Koldobika in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustave Souchu saved R.C. Marseille from getting behind. Gabriel Černoch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djibril Mourot in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Cyrille Melon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Černoch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, R.C. Marseille's Gustave Souchu got control of the ball when Ibai Koldobika tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Cyrille Melon. ŠK Horelica made a substitution. Qi Bing Zhi replaced Ondrej Poliovka. A collision led to R.C. Marseille getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Cyrille Melon hit a great ball. R.C. Marseille's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
