Wágner Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Bouzat, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gustave Souchu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egídio Tinoco's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Egídio Tinoco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustave Souchu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes R.C. Marseille's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Ardoin who took care of the corner kick. Wágner Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyrille Melon in the 37th minute of the match. Cyrille Melon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egídio Tinoco to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Capivariano F.C.'s Giovanni Goiano got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Capivariano F.C.'s Wágner Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Bouzat in the 54th minute of play. Gustave Souchu made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when 白奕希 sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, 白奕希 took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Gustave Souchu to make any attempt to save it. Wágner Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Toader, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Lukas Martinsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustave Souchu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukas Martinsson ran back to his position shaking his head. R.C. Marseille's Gustave Souchu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save R.C. Marseille from getting a goal against them. Wágner Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djibril Mourot in the 96th minute of the match.
