Isaac Prutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Walczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benji Corby in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes OROTINENSE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dylan Pearce who took care of the corner kick. Liu Yong Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zack Bye in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half Dorking United FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, OROTINENSE's Alfonso Rulli got a free kick in the 51st minute. Jools Stamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liu Yong Yong having to interfere. The supporters of OROTINENSE booed when Dorking United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benji Corby didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Karl Fletcher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dorking United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a little luck, OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong got control of the ball when Benji Corby tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in David Talamanca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dorking United FC's Isaac Prutton did a great save. After 73 minutes of play, Dorking United FC's Zack Bye made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dorking United FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
