With his leg Cristo Colas managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Dorking United FC's Benji Corby fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dorking United FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl Fletcher in the 8th minute. Dorking United FC's Karl Fletcher was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristo Colas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl Fletcher during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Karl Fletcher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Prutton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Otsoko's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Brett Corby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paolo Indar struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Isaac Prutton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almeyra F.C.. 17 minutes into the match, Adan Otsoko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaac Prutton. Dorking United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Otsoko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 20th minute Noel Whittaker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Dorking United FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Noel Whittaker hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Almeyra F.C.'s Adan Otsoko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaac Prutton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Cristo Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Whittaker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Xabat took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Prutton. Isaac Prutton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Remir in the 41st minute of play forced Dorking United FC's goalkeeper Isaac Prutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Almeyra F.C. booed when Dorking United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brett Dingle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Adan Otsoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Prutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Almeyra F.C. were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adan Otsoko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Noel Whittaker came free, but Cristo Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adan Otsoko got free with Isaac Prutton in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dorking United FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Adan Otsoko scored to the left of an out of position Isaac Prutton, making the score, 1-5. With his leg Isaac Prutton managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Almeyra F.C.'s Adan Otsoko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sean Hollingsworth kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Adan Otsoko's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Isaac Prutton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 71 minutes into the game, Noel Whittaker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dorking United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almeyra F.C. the free kick. In the 71st minute, Noel Whittaker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noel Whittaker kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Adan Otsoko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Isaac Prutton made a huge save. Adan Otsoko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Prutton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Celedonio Xabat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Isaac Prutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adan Otsoko might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Prutton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adan Otsoko ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Dorking United FC's Isaac Prutton got control of the ball when Adan Otsoko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaac Prutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Xabat in the 84th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 87th minute of the game was made by Noel Whittaker with Dylan Pearce as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 88 minutes into the game, Teo Chano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almeyra F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dorking United FC the free kick. After 88 played minutes Almeyra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Teo Chano. 90 minutes into the match, Adan Otsoko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaac Prutton. Dorking United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Otsoko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Cristo Colas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jools Stamp in the 93rd minute of the match. Adan Otsoko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Isaac Prutton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Almeyra F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
