In the 8th minute Válbson de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Bruhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson de Alcântara in the 8th minute of play forced Ronnys Lärjungar's goalkeeper Edvin Bruhn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ronnys Lärjungar defense, Válbson de Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvin Bruhn. The Ronnys Lärjungar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvin Bruhn should have stopped the shot. After 20th play minutes Tommy Beck shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Aírton de Lima and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Válbson de Alcântara in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvin Bruhn saved Ronnys Lärjungar from getting behind. The supporters of Motta Futebol Clube booed when Ronnys Lärjungar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Esbjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Válbson de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Bruhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Kjell-Arne Skott fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aírton de Lima, passed just outside the right post. The Ronnys Lärjungar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Motta Futebol Clube were winning 1-2.

Válbson de Alcântara might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvin Bruhn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Válbson de Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. Válbson de Alcântara in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Ronnys Lärjungar getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Arnold Butter hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Kjell-Arne Skott left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ronnys Lärjungar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Válbson de Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvin Bruhn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Xie Ao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Motta Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Arantes. 91 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Beck came free, but Aírton de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kåre Mattsson hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Válbson de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Edvin Bruhn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Motta Futebol Clube. Ronnys Lärjungar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
