A collision led to Motta Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Danilo Arantes hit a great ball. Gustavo Reis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aírton de Lima. Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Vihonský came free, but Aírton de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Válbson de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Motta Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell Sjöö breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Vihonský in the 30th minute of play forced Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Aírton de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Curiphila Eagles from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Curiphila Eagles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dudu Hermes was slow to take the kick. During this time Motta Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. Vince Van Hooveldt's late challenge caught a Motta Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vince Van Hooveldt helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Curiphila Eagles fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Vince Van Hooveldt hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Válbson de Alcântara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Kjell Sjöö when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Piearres Holgado came free, but Aírton de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Vihonský was the one to do the kick off. Dudu Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Curiphila Eagles's Gustavo Reis tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Curiphila Eagles's Aírton de Lima threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Piearres Holgado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kjell Sjöö came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Válbson de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima got control of the ball when Erik Vihonský tried to sneak it across the goal line. 狄珂益 hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Motta Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Artur Sabóia hit a great ball. Curiphila Eagles made a substitution. Nico Cunha replaced 尤奕景. After 67 played minutes Motta Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Artur Sabóia. Khaidir Sopandi kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Válbson de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Kjell Sjöö didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Motta Futebol Clube. Curiphila Eagles's Téo Vianna was substituted for Vince Van Hooveldt. If Khaidir Sopandi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Motta Futebol Clube made a substitution. Lu Ladron replaced Artur Sabóia. In the 87th minute, Curiphila Eagles's Piearres Holgado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Aírton de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Sá in the 91st minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Curiphila Eagles players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
