The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Michel de Brito made in the 3rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Edgar Matos immediately put the ball in play. Hortêncio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soyuncu Carron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hortêncio Duarte was a little too slow when Perfecto Orgaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. Soyuncu Carron's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Hortêncio Duarte skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 22 minutes into the match, Pindorama's goal looked a bit too open when Perfecto Orgaz came free, but Hortêncio Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Soyuncu Carron came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Soyuncu Carron couldn't finish the play. Soyuncu Entero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Duarte having to interfere. Hortêncio Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Soyuncu Carron in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mauro Arias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hortêncio Duarte. That made the score 3-1 in the 30 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Soyuncu Entero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hortêncio Duarte was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Soyuncu Carron put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hortêncio Duarte. In the 41st minute, Perfecto Orgaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 44th minute Perfecto Orgaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Soyuncu Entero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hortêncio Duarte. Soyuncu Entero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelsinho Meira made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Soyuncu Carron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hortêncio Duarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Soyuncu Carron sped through Pindorama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hortêncio Duarte. 62 minutes into the match, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Qwinton came free, but Patricio Toribia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soyuncu Carron in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol got a corner. Pindorama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauro Arias ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol. Mauro Arias stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hortêncio Duarte. 9-1. When POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Soyuncu Carron in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pindorama's goalie prevented a goal. Hortêncio Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soyuncu Carron in the 73rd minute of the match. Hortêncio Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Soyuncu Carron went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. Hortêncio Duarte came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Joaquin Vada. But to his dismay, Joaquin Vada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-1. Hortêncio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soyuncu Entero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joaquin Vada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perfecto Orgaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Soyuncu Carron in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pindorama's goalie prevented a goal. After 88 played minutes POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol got a freekick which was hit by Pegoraro La Penna. Perfecto Orgaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Perfecto Orgaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soyuncu Carron in the 97th minute of play forced Pindorama's goalkeeper Hortêncio Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol were the better team. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
