The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Erik Stephansson got free with Roman Gartzea in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Kazimierz Konopka notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Undertakers FC's Ace Mace. Ace Mace was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roman Gartzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Erik Stephansson in the 35th minute of the match. Altino Lameirinhas took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Gartzea. Roman Gartzea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Ace Mace took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Konopka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd match minute, Undertakers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Classon to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Undertakers FC booed when Mr.Magoo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Saturnin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Gartzea made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Altino Lameirinhas sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Mr.Magoo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Altino Lameirinhas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Altino Lameirinhas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Gartzea was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Pascual Ursino in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Undertakers FC's Leo Buschard. 55 minutes into the match, Mr.Magoo's goal looked a bit too open when Altino Lameirinhas came free, but Roman Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mr.Magoo's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Ulizes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ace Mace breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ace Mace was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Erik Stephansson in the 87th minute of play forced Mr.Magoo's goalkeeper Roman Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
