The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Enis Dersu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabien Barthez. Egg Chasers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enis Dersu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. DONPATO's Alkan Soysaltürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Stonehouse in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Crouch in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alkan Soysaltürk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in DONPATO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Rex Wall placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! A collision led to DONPATO getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Elequemedo Lomba hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, DONPATO's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Brookman came free, but Alkan Soysaltürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabien Barthez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enis Dersu's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The DONPATO fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when DONPATO's Enis Dersu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when DONPATO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elequemedo Lomba didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Stonehouse in the 46th minute of play forced DONPATO's goalkeeper Alkan Soysaltürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egg Chasers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rex Wall in the 47th minute. After taking down the ball on Egg Chasers FC's corner Rex Wall fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alkan Soysaltürk quite easily take care of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enis Dersu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Enis Dersu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Enis Dersu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabien Barthez. But to his dismay, Enis Dersu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Benedito de Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabien Barthez was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 78th minute Damian Stonehouse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkan Soysaltürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alkan Soysaltürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Stonehouse in the 78th minute of play. Egg Chasers FC's Damian Stonehouse managed to work through DONPATO's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Damian Stonehouse dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Desiderio Hitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. DONPATO's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Hitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabien Barthez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Crouch got free with Alkan Soysaltürk in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benedito de Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabien Barthez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedito de Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabien Barthez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Damian Stonehouse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alkan Soysaltürk. That made the score 4-1 in the 94 minute of play. DONPATO's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
