Fabien Barthez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Konopka in the 11th minute of play. Kazimierz Konopka received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabien Barthez came out and tried to block the shot, but Kazimierz Konopka slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Fabien Barthez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jasper Delamore kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mr.Magoo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pars Yılhan in the 20th minute. Mr.Magoo's Pars Yılhan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabien Barthez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mr.Magoo's Nilmar Neves quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rex Attenborough, made in the 24th minute of the game. Fabien Barthez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Bäcklin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Gartzea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Crouch's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Mr.Magoo's Guillermo Ulizes got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Fabien Barthez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 32nd minute Torsten Bäcklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Mr.Magoo were awarded a corner. Pars Yılhan went to the cornerflag to take it. Kazimierz Konopka made a great header on Mr.Magoo's corner, it was just that Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Kazimierz Konopka sped through Egg Chasers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabien Barthez. 43 minutes into the match, Mr.Magoo's goal looked a bit too open when Jasper Delamore came free, but Roman Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mr.Magoo's attentive Nilmar Neves managed to snatch the ball when Rex Attenborough made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Jonny Wilkinson got a free kick in the 60th minute. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Mr.Magoo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Bäcklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jasper Delamore struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Roman Gartzea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egg Chasers FC. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Jasper Delamore sped through Mr.Magoo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roman Gartzea. Roman Gartzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasper Delamore, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 71 minutes Mr.Magoo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rex Wall who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Rex Wall almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mr.Magoo's Roman Gartzea did a great save. Rex Attenborough hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Jasper Delamore kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Mr.Magoo's goalkeeper Roman Gartzea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthew Brookman. In the 85th minute, Kazimierz Konopka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Gartzea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Crouch in the 86th minute. Fabien Barthez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Ulizes in the 89th minute of play.
