De Horsterboeren SV's Stephan Wielens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save De Horsterboeren SV from getting a goal against them. MORPH's Paulo Eguen got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Paulo Eguen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MORPH fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 23rd match minute, MORPH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Paez to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Oskar Vesterberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Horsterboeren SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oskar Vesterberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MORPH were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after De Horsterboeren SV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ambrosio Estevez took the corner. Ambrosio Estevez made a great header on MORPH's corner, it was just that De Horsterboeren SV's Stephan Wielens managed to reach the ball for a save. 33 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when German Orlanda came free, but Melquiades Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Orlanda in the 37th minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stephan Wielens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Eguen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmar Udalaitz's late challenge caught a De Horsterboeren SV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Udalaitz helped the player get up and apologised. Delmar Udalaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Eguen to strike the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Mambru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oskar Vesterberg's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. When Paulo Eguen came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the MORPH fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Eguen couldn't finish the play. MORPH's Carel Rokeloos was substituted for Paulo Eguen. Stephan Wielens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Zhi Lin in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MORPH's Zeledon Dorio got a free kick in the 70th minute. De Horsterboeren SV's Stephan Wielens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Zhi Lin in the 73rd minute of play. Stephan Wielens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carel Rokeloos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 played minutes MORPH got a freekick which was hit by Tommi Van Der Meren. Joris Zoetmulder was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, De Horsterboeren SV's German Orlanda got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 86th minute, Isidro Lano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stephan Wielens was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Stephan Wielens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Lano in the 91st minute of the match. After some careless play in the De Horsterboeren SV defense, Carel Rokeloos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stephan Wielens. The De Horsterboeren SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stephan Wielens should have stopped the shot. MORPH's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
