The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rudolph Bosch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Trapiche's Ralph Sanger threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rupert Longden, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 11 played minutes B O B I S A got a freekick which was hit by Rudolph Bosch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerry Fleischer in the 14th minute of play forced Trapiche's goalkeeper Federico Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes Trapiche's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rolf Affentranger who took care of the corner kick. B O B I S A's Rolf Affentranger was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Federico Fe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. B O B I S A's Ralph Sanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Modestio in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Trapiche's zone, Gerry Fleischer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Fe came out of the goal and Gerry Fleischer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christophe Mehri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Fe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christophe Mehri's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, B O B I S A's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Modestio came free, but Ralph Sanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Gerry Fleischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerry Fleischer in the 34th minute of play forced Trapiche's goalkeeper Federico Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Albino Remir got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ralph Sanger quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 40 minutes into the match, B O B I S A's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Porfiro came free, but Ralph Sanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Itzaina got free with Ralph Sanger in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Federico Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerry Fleischer in the 45th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

If Gerry Fleischer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerry Fleischer got free with Federico Fe in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerry Fleischer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Federico Fe made a huge save. Ralph Sanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Remir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, B O B I S A's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Longden came free, but Ralph Sanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerry Fleischer in the 62nd minute of play. B O B I S A were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Trapiche's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rolf Affentranger took the corner. 73 minutes into the game, Leonard Radziszewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trapiche's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave B O B I S A the free kick. A collision led to Trapiche getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Saverio Osasun took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralph Sanger. Ralph Sanger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Trapiche made a substitution. With a little luck, Trapiche's Federico Fe got control of the ball when Gerry Fleischer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ralph Sanger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Osasun in the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to B O B I S A getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Joaquin Lugg hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, B O B I S A's Roth Winiker got a free kick in the 90th minute. The audience held their breath when Albino Remir in the 92nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ralph Sanger's left hand side.
