In the 6th minute Carl Kalfhage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to INIXET BK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Björn Pihlgren hit a great ball. FC ARK CS's Nicolas Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Bergman in the 20th minute of play. Jamal Blackwood kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Gregersson in the 27th minute of play forced FC ARK CS's goalkeeper Nicolas Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Edgar Lang made a precise shot to the right of Kent Näver. INIXET BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, FC ARK CS's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Magnus Bergman came free, but Nicolas Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC ARK CS booed when INIXET BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kent Näver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Corcoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Karl-Magnus Bergman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Nicolas Joey made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Magnus Bergman got free with Nicolas Joey in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herbert Bierfass lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half FC ARK CS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Peder Alström made the kick off in the second half. Carl Kalfhage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Joey having to interfere. Peder Alström kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Carl Kalfhage put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nicolas Joey. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sören Gregersson in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Joey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolas Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Gregersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Sammy Corcoran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th match minute, FC ARK CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Severo to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, FC ARK CS's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Kalfhage came free, but Nicolas Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Peder Alström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Joey was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by INIXET BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sammy Corcoran was slow to take the kick. During this time FC ARK CS's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Carl Kalfhage's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Joey was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Kent Näver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Corcoran in the 85th minute of the match. FC ARK CS's attack was well implemented in the 86th minute, but when Sammy Corcoran was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 92 minutes of play, INIXET BK's Carl Kalfhage made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Joey was left in no man's land by his defense there!
