Arthur Hengemühl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nery Pumpido having to interfere. Sven-Edvin Jansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Henrick Zeier made a huge save. Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Wielowiejski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Eichelberger in the 8th minute of play. Zico Zellier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrick Zeier having to interfere. In the 12th minute Arthur Hengemühl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serge Jeanneret in the 16th minute of play. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Hengemühl in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, GuateFortín's Zico Zellier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Arthur Hengemühl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcel Eichelberger hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stian Aarflot in the 38th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Trotta. Sven-Edvin Jansson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Henrick Zeier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Tarada's Florian Walther was substituted for Piotrek Zielinski. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Wielowiejski to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Wielowiejski in the 59th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrick Zeier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Trotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. GuateFortín made a substitution. Ivan Lozano replaced Máximo Perrone. GuateFortín made a substitution. Elias Pagomari replaced Thierry Henry. Tarada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adam Wielowiejski in the 67th minute. With an all-out effort, Tarada's Nery Pumpido threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcel Eichelberger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th minute Sven-Edvin Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrick Zeier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrick Zeier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 87th minute of play. GuateFortín's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Marcel Eichelberger scored to the left of an out of position Nery Pumpido, making the score, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
