In the 34th minute Carl Kalfhage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urmas Känsäkangas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Sören Gregersson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urmas Känsäkangas. SK Gullegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sören Gregersson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. INIXET BK's Sören Gregersson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when INIXET BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pål Svanberg kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Bruno Renan managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Gullegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Renan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Näver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. In the 82nd minute of the match, Sören Gregersson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Urmas Känsäkangas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urmas Känsäkangas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Mathias-Alexander Jamieson got a free kick in the 91st minute. Hannes Jamieson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Näver having to interfere. INIXET BK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
