Saint Etienne FC's players were relieved. In the 11th match minute, Saint Etienne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Enekoitz to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Bruno Renan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Claudio Normando to make any attempt to save it. Emanuel Gigliotti hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Claudio Normando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Errapel in the 21st minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Urmas Känsäkangas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Bram Jamieson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Normando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Saint Etienne FC's goalkeeper Claudio Normando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hannes Jamieson. In the 25th minute, Hannes Jamieson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Normando was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Mathias-Alexander Jamieson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudio Normando came out and tried to block the shot, but Mathias-Alexander Jamieson slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 28th minute. Claudio Normando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hannes Jamieson in the 31st minute. Claudio Normando didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Hannes Jamieson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Claudio Normando made a huge save. Claudio Normando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hannes Jamieson made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Atarratze in the 52nd minute of play forced Saint Etienne FC's goalkeeper Claudio Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Hannes Jamieson sped through Saint Etienne FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claudio Normando. Hannes Jamieson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Normando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. SK Gullegem's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bruno Renan in the 58th minute. After taking down the ball on SK Gullegem's corner Bruno Renan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claudio Normando quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hannes Jamieson in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Normando saved Saint Etienne FC from getting behind. Claudio Normando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Saint Etienne FC's Juan Enekoitz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Alejo Telesforo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Bruno Renan struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Claudio Normando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Gullegem. After some careless play in the Saint Etienne FC defense, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Normando. The Saint Etienne FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Normando should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Gullegem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Tolek Wojno was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Saint Etienne FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tolek Wojno hit a great ball. Claudio Normando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Jamieson in the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Hannes Jamieson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Gullegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Jamieson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SK Gullegem's Urmas Känsäkangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Errapel in the 88th minute of play. SK Gullegem were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saint Etienne FC for a fine match.
