Máximo Perrone didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Vargas in the 4th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GuateFortín were furious when Danilo Ocampo was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Nery Pumpido, was totally fooled by ЦАРСТВО БЪЛГАРИЯ 681's Kalin Tishinov, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. GuateFortín made a substitution. Orlando Coria replaced Stanyo Búnkov. Georgi Mihaylov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Alvarenga in the 16th minute of play. Georgi Mihaylov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Villanueva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Vargas in the 22nd minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Coria to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Thierry Henry hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Galabin Alichkov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nery Pumpido skillfully saved the ball. In the 33rd minute Zico Zellier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgi Mihaylov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Joks in the 37th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zico Zellier might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georgi Mihaylov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zico Zellier ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 39 minutes, William Villanueva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GuateFortín's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Villanueva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thierry Henry kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Vargas came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the GuateFortín defense, Andrzej Joks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nery Pumpido. The GuateFortín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nery Pumpido should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Vargas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When ЦАРСТВО БЪЛГАРИЯ 681's Adam Waldoch in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GuateFortín's goalie prevented a goal. 53 minutes into the match, ЦАРСТВО БЪЛГАРИЯ 681's goalkeeper Georgi Mihaylov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Villanueva. 57 minutes into the match, ЦАРСТВО БЪЛГАРИЯ 681's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Alvarenga came free, but Georgi Mihaylov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Georgi Mihaylov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ЦАРСТВО БЪЛГАРИЯ 681's Kaloyan Ugrinov was substituted for Galabin Alichkov. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's William Villanueva got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Villanueva to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Ariel Vargas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nery Pumpido was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When the referee ended the match the ЦАРСТВО БЪЛГАРИЯ 681 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
