Roger Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Andrychowski in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jagodnica SA's goalkeeper Bernard Martynek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Décio Rola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Bernard Martynek made a huge save. Sjötorp IF's Roger Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Rakowski in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Jagodnica SA booed when Sjötorp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Ahlerot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Sjötorp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Andrychowski came free, but Roger Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Ahlerot charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gunnar Ahlerot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Radowit Rakowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Fagrell was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Vennersten during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stefan Vennersten hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The long shot by Waclaw Zawadzki in the 97th minute really tested Roger Fagrell's skills.
