Kauã Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Vennersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Décio Rola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauã Brodel was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. If Michaël Casoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Sjötorp IF's Sebastian Qvarnström quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Roger Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Bury in the 69th minute of play. Décio Rola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kauã Brodel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Grigoris Papachristoulis was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the game, Sjötorp IF's Décio Rola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kauã Brodel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Décio Rola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Kauã Brodel managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Sjötorp IF's Décio Rola fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kauã Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Rola, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
