Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) After 4th play minutes Alfons Delin shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Nard Kasmi and just under the crossbar into goal. 6 minutes into the game, Carlos Valderrama was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VfL Wolfsburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mali i Thatë FC the free kick. In the 6th minute, Carlos Valderrama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Mali i Thatë FC's goalkeeper Nard Kasmi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerry Fristedt. With a little luck, Mali i Thatë FC's Nard Kasmi got control of the ball when Jerry Fristedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Mali i Thatë FC booed when VfL Wolfsburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Fristedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erando Gacaferi's late challenge caught a VfL Wolfsburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erando Gacaferi helped the player get up and apologised. Erando Gacaferi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerry Fristedt during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes VfL Wolfsburg got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Fristedt. After 28 played minutes, Mali i Thatë FC's Vlash Xhaferri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olle Tunander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mali i Thatë FC reached it. In the 28th minute Eneid Ilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Rasmus Backlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olle Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eneid Ilo in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Mali i Thatë FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Erando Gacaferi hit a great ball. Nard Kasmi came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by VfL Wolfsburg's Jerry Fristedt. But to his dismay, Jerry Fristedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Mali i Thatë FC's Nard Kasmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Delin in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Mali i Thatë FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Delin came free, but Nard Kasmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olle Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luftim Hamdiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Mali i Thatë FC's Nard Kasmi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Mali i Thatë FC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eneid Ilo made a kick off. Jerry Fristedt was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, VfL Wolfsburg's Jerry Fristedt got a free kick in the 55th minute. VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save VfL Wolfsburg from getting a goal against them. Olle Tunander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lirim Osja in the 60th minute. Alfons Delin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Alfons Delin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VfL Wolfsburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Mali i Thatë FC made a substitution. Mikel Meta replaced Elion Fazliu. Mikel Meta got a throw-in 77 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Erando Gacaferi. Carlos Valderrama was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Carlos Valderrama kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Vlash Xhaferri took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olle Tunander. Olle Tunander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. VfL Wolfsburg's Kenneth Wallander was substituted for Rasmus Backlund. After 88 played minutes VfL Wolfsburg got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Albom.
