In the 5th minute Beat Hagenbuch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Béla Simon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márk Kuti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Fabio Hesse when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horatio Tobler in the 17th minute of play forced Edelényi Bányász's goalkeeper Béla Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Kliment Frontov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edelényi Bányász's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kliment Frontov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Béla Simon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horatio Tobler, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Edelényi Bányász's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Lampart came free, but Béla Simon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes FC Stadtclub got a freekick which was hit by Gianluca Schifferli. Beat Hagenbuch kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Fabio Hesse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kliment Frontov's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kliment Frontov in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Hesse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Edelényi Bányász's Kliment Frontov in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Stadtclub's goalie prevented a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Edelényi Bányász's goal looked a bit too open when Beat Hagenbuch came free, but Béla Simon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Horatio Tobler made the kick off in the second half. Márton Baló received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fabio Hesse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Edelényi Bányász getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Márton Szusza hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Edelényi Bányász's goalkeeper Béla Simon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Beat Hagenbuch managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Stadtclub's supporters rose to their feet, but Beat Hagenbuch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Béla Simon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Edelényi Bányász's Kliment Frontov in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner ended in Tobias Caron almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Edelényi Bányász's Béla Simon did a great save. 81 minutes into the game, Edelényi Bányász's Kliment Frontov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Hesse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 89 minutes into the match, FC Stadtclub's goal looked a bit too open when Kliment Frontov came free, but Fabio Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chants of FC Stadtclub echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Edelényi Bányász had held the ball for most of the match.
