Béla Simon came out of the goal and Beat Hagenbuch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute Márton Baló shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Lajos Murai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Béla Simon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horatio Tobler, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. FC Stadtclub were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Edelényi Bányász's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobias Caron took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Stadtclub's corner Elia Vonrotz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Béla Simon quite easily take care of the ball. Béla Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romero Affolter in the 13th minute of the match. FC Stadtclub's Fabio Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kliment Frontov in the 15th minute of play. Fabio Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kliment Frontov, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Fabio Hesse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kliment Frontov in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Stadtclub's Matthias Vrijdags got a free kick in the 25th minute. FC Stadtclub's Fabio Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márk Kuti in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kliment Frontov in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Hesse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horatio Tobler in the 37th minute of play forced Edelényi Bányász's goalkeeper Béla Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes of play, Edelényi Bányász's Kliment Frontov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Hesse was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kliment Frontov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horatio Tobler got free with Béla Simon in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The FC Stadtclub players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Edelényi Bányász were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horatio Tobler made a kick off. Béla Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horatio Tobler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Béla Simon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romero Affolter in the 59th minute of play. After some careless play in the Edelényi Bányász defense, Beat Hagenbuch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Béla Simon. The Edelényi Bányász fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Béla Simon should have stopped the shot. FC Stadtclub made a substitution. Giacomo Wunderlin replaced Elia Vonrotz. Béla Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beat Hagenbuch in the 72nd minute of the match. FC Stadtclub's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobias Caron in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beat Hagenbuch in the 77th minute of play forced Edelényi Bányász's goalkeeper Béla Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horatio Tobler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horatio Tobler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Stadtclub's Beat Hagenbuch got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Edelényi Bányász getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Márton Szusza hit a great ball. Edelényi Bányász's Béla Simon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Lampart in the 88th minute of play. Béla Simon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beat Hagenbuch's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Gordon Blue's late challenge caught a FC Stadtclub's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gordon Blue helped the player get up and apologised.
