Béla Simon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eleuterio Mirande's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Marian Golembiewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Béla Simon. Edelényi Bányász's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marian Golembiewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 38 minutes Edelényi Bányász's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pablo Tolino who took care of the corner kick. Ilulea FC's Pablo Tolino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Béla Simon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Ilulea FC's Gabby Arias got control of the ball when Kliment Frontov tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ilulea FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eleuterio Mirande hit a great ball. Örs Markó hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Eleuterio Mirande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Ilulea FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when 史铮坤 made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Edelényi Bányász's goalkeeper Béla Simon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 史铮坤. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, 史铮坤 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilulea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but 史铮坤 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Béla Simon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
