In the 7th minute, Ferreirinha Vinhas made a precise shot to the right of Diamantino Magalhães. Passa o Tanque MZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Diamantino Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferreirinha Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Passa o Tanque MZ's goalkeeper Diamantino Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Padilla during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 20 minutes into the game, Ole-Johan Larsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Diamantino Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Rauh came free, but Pedrinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Ole-Johan Larsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Alfa FC's Ciro Luz got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Ole-Johan Larsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alfa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 35 played minutes Passa o Tanque MZ got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Lopez. After 46 minutes, Ferreirinha Vinhas made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Passa o Tanque MZ's Diamantino Magalhães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Alfa FC were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stian Selnes made a kick off. Passa o Tanque MZ's Ronaldinho Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Rauh in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ronaldinho Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Passa o Tanque MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldinho Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedrinho de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Oliveiro in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Passa o Tanque MZ got a corner. Alfa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roque Oliveiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Passa o Tanque MZ's Téo de Godoi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedrinho de Queirós in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Passa o Tanque MZ's Diamantino Magalhães got control of the ball when Ole-Johan Larsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diamantino Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ole-Johan Larsen's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's Ole-Johan Larsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diamantino Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfa FC were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Passa o Tanque MZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ole-Johan Larsen took the corner. Pedrinho de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Oliveiro in the 79th minute of the match. Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Oliveiro in the 80th minute of play. Pedrinho de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Rauh, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Diamantino Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole-Johan Larsen in the 84th minute of play. Ole-Johan Larsen's shot from long distance in the 91st minute was not bad at all, but Passa o Tanque MZ's Diamantino Magalhães knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 94 minutes into the game, Alfa FC's Ole-Johan Larsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diamantino Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alfa FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
